A Fun and Simple Thanksgiving Treat
These darling turkey cookies are the perfect addition to any Thanksgiving menu. Not only are they simple to make and delicious, but a wonderful way to get those little chefs involved in the holiday baking.
INGREDIENTS
- premade round sugar cookies
- Mini Reese’s Cups for the head
- candy corn for the feathers
- butterscotch chips for the beak
- red M&M Minis for the wattle
- candy eyeballs
- chocolate melting wafers
- piping bag (a Ziplock bag also works just fine)

INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1 MELT CHOCOLATE Melt chocolate wafers according to package directions. You will only need about a half cup depending on the number of cookies you have. Pour into a piping bag and cut a small hole at the tip.
STEP 2 ASSEMBLE THE TURKEY Using the melted chocolate wafers as glue, assemble the turkeys as pictured below.


STEP 3 TURKEY LEGS Pipe on the turkey legs using the remaining melted chocolate. Allow to dry. That’s it! Enjoy!


STORAGE
Once dry, store in an airtight container in a cool place.
